Starting next week I am going to do something that I never attempted to accomplish in student ministry; a preaching series on God. Though we can look up blogs online or read books or hear lectures from professors on who God is, recently in prayer I have been compelled to take this newly formed group of students first through a look at God before showing them how to live for Him. Personally I never understood or had a good relationship with God until I understood who He is and why He does things the way He does. So we are going to first look at his relationship as father and then look at Jesus, the Holy Spirit, consistency, love, jealousy and so on. It makes me excited to just think about it!!
